Transferring Your Music from a Previous Distributor

You can move your catalog from another distributor to ChilClick while keeping your existing streams intact.

Option 1: Use the Transfer Tool #

ChilClick provides a built-in Transfer-In tool for releases already live on Spotify:

1. Search for your artist profile on Spotify.
2. Select the releases you want to transfer (multiple selections allowed).
3. Duplicate the release into your ChilClick account.
4. Upload the original audio and add the genre.
5. Verify artist roles, songwriters, lyrics, and other metadata.
6. Publish your release–once live, your ChilClick version will merge with the original streams.
7. Request takedowns from your previous distributor only after your ChilClick release is live.

Option 2: Manually Recreate Your Release #

If you prefer manual transfer:

1. Create a new release in ChilClick.
2. Use the same audio files, metadata, ISRCs, and artwork as the original release.
3. Submit the release–stores will display both versions until streaming data merges.
4. Platforms like Spotify and Apple Music will automatically merge streams over a few days.
5. Request takedowns from your previous distributor once ready.
