ChilClick allows you to choose both a release date and a specific release time for your music on supported stores.
Setting a release time is optional. If you do not select a time or time zone, your release will follow the standard store schedule, which is usually midnight in each territory.
How Timed Releases Work #
- You can set an exact time and time zone for supported platforms
- If no time is selected, stores release your music at their default time
- Not all stores support timed releases
Steps to Set a Timed Release #
Step 1: Create a New Release #
Log in to your ChilClick dashboard and start a new release.
Step 2: Enter Release Information #
Complete all required release details, including artist, tracks, and metadata.
In the Release Date & Time section:
- Turn on the option to define a release time and time zone
- Select your desired date and exact time
Tip:
Release timing is usually based on a global time standard (such as UTC). Always double-check the displayed time zone to ensure correct timing.
Step 3: Review and Publish #
Confirm that all information is correct, then submit the release for distribution.
Important Notes #
- Some stores do not support timed releases
- If a store does not support timing, the release will go live at that store’s default release time, typically midnight on the selected date
- Final release timing is determined by each store or streaming service
