- Each original song should have one ISWC.
- Different versions, such as arrangements, adaptations, or translations, should receive their own unique ISWC.
- ISWCs are assigned by your Performing Rights Organization (PRO). If your songs are already registered with your PRO, they should already have an ISWC.
