Guidelines for Release Titles

< 1 min read

1. Accuracy & Consistency
Album and track titles must exactly match the cover art, with no abbreviations or extra marketing phrases.

2. Avoid Generic or Placeholder Titles
Do not use “Track 1,” “Album,” or “Single.” Titles must reflect the official release names.
Example: “Midnight Echoes”

3. Multiple Titles & Versions
Separate multiple titles with a slash ( / ), with spaces around it.
Use the version field for remixes, live, or alternate versions.
Example: Title: “City Lights / Night Drive,” Version: “Acoustic Mix”

4. Deluxe, Bonus, and Live Tracks
Deluxe editions may include additional material; bonus tracks must be labeled in the version field.
Live recordings should also be indicated here.
Example: Version: “Live at Harmony Hall” or “Bonus Track – Moonrise”

5. No Format, Region, or Video References
Avoid including CD, digital, country editions, or video terms in titles.
Incorrect: “European Edition CD”
Correct: “Solar Horizon”

6. Explicit Content
Submit titles exactly as the artist intends; channels will automatically censor explicit words.

7. Language & Translation
Titles must use one language only; do not combine translations.
Example: Correct: “Aurora Borealis”
Incorrect: “Northern Lights / Aurora Borealis”

8. Clarity & Identification
Only include essential information for identifying the track or album. Avoid unnecessary descriptors like “Exclusive” or “Limited Edition.”
