< 1 min read

Album & Track Language

  • The album’s main language should match the primary language of the titles.
  • Each track should reflect the language used in the song.
  • Instrumental or fictional languages should be marked as No Language.

Consistency in Scripts

  • All metadata and titles must use the correct script for the chosen language.
  • Do not mix scripts or provide transliterations in the same field.

Title Formatting

  • Use a consistent capitalization style for titles.
  • Keep formatting uniform across the album.

Special Characters & Accents

  • Include all necessary characters required by the language.
  • Avoid fixed example words; use neutral placeholders if needed.

Explicit Content

  • Mark tracks with explicit lyrics or content accordingly.
  • Albums containing explicit tracks will be flagged automatically.

Language Support & Mapping

  • Unsupported languages should be mapped to a supported option.
  • Ensure the selection is accurate for distribution platforms.
