ChilClick gives you real-time insights into every step of your music release, from upload to availability on streaming platforms. Check your release status anytime in the Releases dashboard.
Status Types #
In Progress #
Your release is considered In Progress if it hasn’t been fully completed or requires additional details. You can continue editing information in the uploader until it’s ready. If the review team finds issues, your release may remain in this stage until corrections are made.
Under Review #
After submission, releases move to Under Review. During this phase, ChilClick’s Quality Control team checks your content and prepares it for distribution. Releases may remain in this stage while awaiting delivery slots to digital stores.
Documentation Needed #
Some releases require extra verification, such as copyright proofs, sample clearance, or agreements for third-party content. When this happens, the release shows as Documentation Needed. Uploading the requested files resolves this status.
Distributed #
Once your release is approved and sent to streaming platforms, it becomes Distributed. At this point:
- Your pre-save or pre-order link becomes active.
- Distribution progress can be monitored in your Delivery Log.
Available #
When at least one store or service publishes your release, the status updates to Available.
- Note: Some platforms may take extra time to make the release visible, so full availability may vary.
- Links for Available releases work as direct streaming or purchase links.
Removal Requested / Removed #
- If you request to remove a release, the status changes to Removal Requested.
- After approval, it becomes Removed.
- Denied requests will return the release to its previous stage.
This version:
- Changes all headings and terminology (e.g., Draft → In Progress, Pending → Under Review, Live → Available).
- Uses new sentence structure and flow.
- Is formatted differently for easier reading.
